Carousel Dance Company 2011-2012 Registration Information
The purpose of the Carousel Dance Company is to broaden the student's dance experience by providing the opportunity to work with guest and faculty choreographers as well as to participate in extra performance opportunities throughout the year. Students benefit from working with other students at a variety of levels and ages and are encouraged to extend their creative capabilities and to refine their technical skills.
2011/2012 Season
Christmas Show - December 11th
Spring Show- April (Date to be Confirmed)
Touring Company Season
July 2011 - "The Lorax" at Arts Express Day Camp *with guests from Company A
October 2, 2011 - "The Lorax" & Touring Co. Piece at Registry Theatre *with guests from Company A
May/June 2012 - Sur la Pointe Dance Festival in London, ON
June 2012 - Guelph Contemporary Dance Festival
July 2012 - daCi (Dance and the Child International)
**Potential trip to perform at and participate in the" Dance and the Child
International Conference" (daCi) in Taipei, Taiwan. We have submitted an application and are exploring the feasibility of this trip for touring company and it is not a certainty. It is an exciting possibility!

Registration:
To register for dance company, please visit our registration page. Registration for all levels of company will be accepted on-line; however, acceptance into touring company is pending completion and acceptance of the application (see link right).
Fees:
Please refer to the link on the right for fee details. In addition to company fees, a parental volunteer commitment is required. If your family does not meet the volunteer commitment for the level of company that the student is enrolled in, there will be a "BUY OUT" at the end of the year. Additional fees, as detailed in the company structure chart, will be posted to your account following the Spring Company performance.
Fee Payment:
The full company fee is due Aug. 2nd.
** Touring Company members will be notified of acceptance prior to this date
***Refund Policy – full refund less $75 if withdrawal on or before September 11th, 2011. After September 11th no refunds will be given except in extenuating circumstances.
