Kate has been successfully enrolling students in RAD exams, collaborating with local arts communities, and choreographing for over 13 years. As a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, Kate combines expertise in ballet with a deep understanding of student development. She has taken on the challenge of teaching students ranging from preschool to adult, and enjoys seeing students expand their confidence as they grow in their understanding of ballet. Holding a degree in Recreation Therapy and Social Development from the University of Waterloo, and further specializing through graduate studies in mental health, Kate integrates a holistic approach into her teaching, ensuring that students are appreciated for being their own unique selves. Kate is driven by a passion for making the beauty of dance accessible to everyone in their own context, and is committed to sharing her love for ballet and inspiring students of all ages to discover the transformative power of dance.
