ASSISTANT TEACHERS
If you are 12 years or older and enjoy working with children, you are an excellent candidate for assistant teaching. Carousel provides the opportunity for students in the intermediate and senior schools to assistant teach a younger children's class. This is a great learning experience for our assistant teachers, counts as high school volunteer hours, and is a lot of fun! Assistant teachers gain valuable leadership skills that they can apply in any setting that involves working with children. Priority placement is given to students who have completed Carousel's summer leadership training course.
