Carousel Theatre Company (CTC) is a dance, theatre, and arts program for adults with disabilities. Founded in 2014, CTC began with just six young adults and quickly grew. By spring 2015, the company had grown to 15 members who proudly debuted their premiere production of The Lorax at the Registry Theatre in Kitchener. The company continues to thrive, with all classes held at the Carousel Dance Centre, located at 550 Parkside Drive in Waterloo. Each year, members of the company collaborate to produce an original performance and actively participate in every stage of its creation—from concept to curtain call. Our vision is rooted in discovery, growth, and the celebration of individuality. We aim to foster creativity, build confidence, and honour the unique talents each member brings to the group. Along the journey to our annual performance, we share countless laughs, create lasting memories, and enjoy the special bond of coming together each week.
