carousel dance company school performances
The Carousel Dance Company invites school groups to experience a live dance performance in a professional theatre setting. This year, the 75‑member company—including children and teens aged 7 to 17—will present The Snowman & The Snowdog. The program features audience participation and a brief Q&A with the performers. Students will also have the opportunity to engage physically by dancing from their seats as they enjoy this exciting performance. The focus of our school performances is to broaden the students' understanding of choreographic choices used to communicate thoughts, characters and ideas through dance. These performances are designed for students in Grades 1 through 6 and support the development of artistic literacy through observation, discussion, and guided participation.
