class protocols
The studios have been carefully organized to ensure physical distancing and to make sure it's clear to the students how to maintain a distance of three meters. Tape lines have been placed on the floor to assist the students with visualization of their dance space and the acceptable distance between dancers. The instructors will provide the dancers with clear instructions on where to stand while they are dancing at the barre and in the centre. We expect students to listen carefully to the teacher's instructions and to follow their expectations for new classroom protocols.

Will my child need to stand within their taped box for the entire class? No. The floor markings help to keep the studio space organized and to provide a visual reminder for the students about their dance space. Class elements will also consist of barre work, across the floor elements and choreography during which teachers will carefully plan student directions and pathways to ensure that physical distance is maintained.
