ELIZA MILLS, BA, MEd
Eliza Mills has been teaching and choreographing at Carousel since 2017, after graduating from the school in 2015. During her fourteen years as a student at Carousel, Eliza trained in ballet, jazz, modern, and composition, and performed with the Carousel Dance Company for eight years. In her final year of training, Eliza achieved Distinction on her Advanced II RAD Ballet Exam and performed the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy for the KW Symphony Yuletide Spectacular.
Since joining the staff team at Carousel, she has enjoyed teaching a wide variety of styles and ages, including ballet, modern, and jazz in the primary, junior, intermediate, and senior schools. Eliza frequently creates new works for the Carousel Dance Company, specializing in large group jazz and contemporary pieces for the Company's many guest performances with local musical groups.
Eliza holds a Masters of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), through the University of Toronto.
