FRANZISKA EISENHUTH
Franziska is a Carousel graduate trained in modern, jazz, lyrical, and ballet, having completed her Advanced II RAD exam at Carousel. Additionally, she spent a year training in the pre-professional ballet program at the University of Dance and Performing Arts in Mannheim, Germany. During her 15 years as a Carousel student, Franziska has enjoyed various performance opportunities locally and globally, including the Dance and the Child International conference in Copenhagen, the Guelph Dance Festival, the Muskoka Ballet Gala, and KW Symphony Yuletide Spectacular. Franziska started off volunteering as an assistant teacher at Carousel, and since then has joined the Carousel staff as a summer camp leader, dance teacher, and choreographer. Franziska has enjoyed creating pieces with the Carousel Dance Company, one of which she won a Muskoka Ballet Gala Choreographer’s Award for in 2017. Franziska is now completing her Bachelor of Science at McGill University, and has continued nurturing her love for dancing and choreography as a member of Inertia Modern Dance Collective at the university. Franziska cherishes her time as a Carousel student and is thrilled to pass on her love for dance as a staff member!
