CAROUSEL'S COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN
We have implemented several new procedures and policies to help keep our staff and students safe as we return to dance classes at the studio. We are following provincials guidelines and have consulted with Waterloo Region Public Health. We have also contacted health and dance professionals for advice on our COVID-19 Safety Plan. It is important that each family carefully reads through these policies and procedures. Agreement to following the policies is a requirement of attending classes at Carousel. For more details on any of the policies as well as answers to Frequently Asked Questions, please click on the images in each section.
HAND SANITIZER

REDUCED CLASS SIZES
We are fortunate to have very large studios at Carousel. Our large studios paired with our very limited class sizes will allow us to keep a minimum of 2 meters of distance between the dancers.

CLASS PROTOCOLS FOR ENSURING PHYSICAL DISTANCING
Teachers will provide guidance to students about where to stand while dancing at the barre, in the centre and while waiting at the side. Markings on the floor will assist students in following these guidelines. It is expected that students listen carefully to the instructions provided by the instructor and maintain a physical distance of at least two meters from the other dancers at all times.

STUDIO WAIVER
Parents will be asked to sign an on-line waiver prior to their child participating in the program. While we are taking every possible measure available to stop the spread of COVID-19, parents must recognize that attending classes at the Carousel Dance Centre may pose some element of risk and that Carousel will not be held liable for any illness or injury that arises as a result of participation in our programs. Parents also agree that if due to COVID-19 we are no longer able to offer in-person classes, we will quickly and seamlessly transition to an on-line format that follows the same schedule as our in person classes. Virtual classes will replace the in-person classes and no refunds or credits will be provided for the remainder of term. You will always have the option to cancel enrollment at the end of each term.
